Four: two men and two women
Synopsis
2359 West revolves around four grown siblings who clash when trying to sell their family home after their father has died. Dynamics in family relationships is explored, showing how each sibling’s role in the family doesn’t change that much from childhood to adulthood. 2359 West also deals with how a shared memory can be perceived in drastically different ways through the eyes of each character. As the characters relate their personal life and their family life through monologues, the audience is made to feel like a therapist or a friend who listens to four different points of view in this family conflict.

Reviews
“I was so immediately drawn into this story that I wanted to engage the characters in conversation. I could not know them quickly or immediately enough” — Gay Chicago Magazine
“An artisan’s look at evolving insanity, 2359 West portrays three middle-aged siblings and their attempts to rid their inherited home of the overbearing older sister. This particular act is feverish and disturbing as the brothers and sisters narrate their squabble. Frequently interrupting the childish argument, the four morbidly intone various nursery rhymes, allowing the audience to sweat in anticipation and bed-wetting fear.” — Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
“Wawzenek’s characters are well-drawn and grow increasingly complex as the story escalates to a sad, but believable conclusion.” — Art Muscle Magazine
